Chaser turns "5"

Chase has been such a blessing to our family. When he was born it was strange to not have another Blondie kid, but we sure love his dark eyes and skin.

He was our smallest baby at birth but he soon made up for it by becoming the biggest from then on...

He has the best smile ever. When he smile at you it shows in his eyes... And if you can get him to laugh it is wonderful because he just rolls with laughter...

He has a natural love for baseball. He has played a couple of seasons and keeps asking when it is time to play again. Sorry I can't do a summer season...

He loves his Karly so much. He is a great big brother. We have joked that we had her so he had a buddy to grow up with. They are either best of friends or they are taking each other out.... And lately she has been winning. I thing she is going to be a fire ball. good luck Chase keeping up with her. I think she maybe dragging him through life... Happy birthday buddy!!!

Sick babies

Well I was hoping to post a pic of her new haircut, but so far the only pic I got was her sick & sleeping in my bed...You notice that her baby is never far from her...

???

I am playing with the idea of doing a 2 day a week drop off babysitting service in the fall. So I am just putting the question out there...Would you use a drop in service?????

Swimming with cousins...

My kids were so excited to go to my sister Crystals house. We have been at the water parks a lot and so we have not had to deal with DEEP water...

But with a little floaty and a lot of confidence they jumping off everything... Yes even Karly.

Thanks to the Goodmans for having a pool.

Day 16

Well today is day 16 with our PEPSI. It really has not been to bad so far. Cory is out of town this week so I guess when I get tired of dealing with my kids, I think about getting a Pepsi. But my silver lining to all this is I have lost 7 pounds...That is a great motivation to keep going...

Day 10

Well I am at day 10 with out a PEPSI. Any one who knows me knows I love a cold Pepsi. Well today I am so stressed that I am ready to go get one.But I thought that I would vent on my blog rather than fall off my wagon. So those who have known me through the stress of Chase and potty training, well a few weeks ago I was excited that thing had gotten so much better. Well every since I lost my job he has been right back to were we started. He has been having accidents for 3 or 4 weeks AGAIN..... I am so at a breaking point(for like the 155st time) I finally broke down and called a child development hot line. I spoke with one lady who was very nice but is giving my name and number to a specialist...So we will wait for that call. Sorry for the blog but I just needed to vent and not go any were...Thanks for listening...

My trip to Kentucky

I had a chance to go with my Dad back to Kentucky. It was for a Sullivan family reunion. We were able to drive all over the country and see were he had grown up, gone to school etc.

I was a lot of fun to drive around with my Dad and his sisters and laugh with them about the things they did as kids.

This is the house that my Dad was born in, the house was his Grandmothers at the time, but know it is empty.

This was the "Adsmore" house. It is considered to be a living museum. It was built in 1857 and was then bought in 1900 by the Garrett Family. They only had 1 child and she never married or had children. So when she died at the age of 83 she willed everything to the town library and it was restored and is FULL of the families belongings. It was amazing!!!!

This is me, my Dad, 2 of his sisters and 1 of my cousins. I really consider this to be a trip of a lifetime. I don't know if I will ever get the chance to do this with him again. A huge thanks to my husband and kids for letting me do this and things staying a float at the house.

Day 1 in panties...

Well today is day 1 in panties...I have been kinda putting this off because of fears of her not being ready.I kept telling myself that I wanted to wait until we were done with summer travels and being a little more home bound. Well here we go. I Hope she will do this quickly.

Who needs a pool

The boys were ready for water and it didn't matter where they were. So soon I found them in the spa and they say the water is perfect. I had told them I didn't want Karly in but when she put on her own swim suit and went out they thought I sent her. I guess you could say she is independent.
