Chase had been planning a date with mom all week.. He wanted to go see the movie Smurfs..
He had to have dippin dots on the way out, and since it was a special date I could not say no....
Dinner was at Panda express, then on to the mall for a little shopping. And what really started the date idea to begin with was a stop at Cheesecake Factory for a slice. We sat outside the mall and listened to a band play... It was a very fun night. I really enjoyed my one on one time with him... Cory even told him that if you ask a girl on a date you have to pay... So Chase even had enough money in his wallet to pay for the WHOLE date.. thx dad
July 23, 2011 was a great day for the Smith Family... We are so blessed to have sweet Chase in our life. He has been counting down to his baptism day for months..
And a special day would not be the same without his best cousin Carter.
I love any chance we have to get a family snap shot. It is still strange to see more big people in the picture than little people. But man are we glad to still have a few little people in our life....
Chase is very excited to have turned 8 and be able to go take pictures in a suit... Our future missionary...
