Easter with the Sullivans

Well we did not have plans to go anywere for Easter wekend because of the BIG kids going on the stake trek. But last minute we juggled life and headed for Thatcher AZ. THe kids sure had a fun time dying eggs.

Its sad to say but this has not always been a yearly tradtion.

This is how my bro-in-law Jade warms up to Karly. Just give her sugar and she likes any one...

We went up on Mt Graham for our easter egg hunt. When I was a kids our egg hunts were always in the mountains.

READY... SET... GO...and they were off hunting.....

Our day at the zoo

I feel like I have not had 2 minutes to catch up on life so her it goes. So we had the chance to go with Chase and his preschool class to thezoo. It also helps that his teacher is my sister.

It was alot of fun to watch his excitement has he say many animals for the first time (live) not on TV.

The spider monkey village was by far the best part of the zoo. You get to go right into the cage with them.

Karly was a good sport about it all but she was not real happy with staying in the stroller. I was not up to chasing her all over the zoo.

Well this is what happens when Chase tries to take a bath without Karly. As you can see from the video there is always a battle between them.

Chads car

Well today was a big day for Chad. He went to his driver safety class, but when we went to pick "HIS" car. He was very excited and was able to drive it home.

We know that this is not his dream car but for a car that didn't cost him anything it is pretty good. He should have his licence in about a month.

Karly turns 2

Well from 1 girl to the next. Karly turned 2 on Thursday. Time is sure flying. So I thought it would be fun to do something with the friends in our neighborhood. I have some really great ladies who love to come hang out on our grass in the afternoon. So I thought it would be fun to make cupcakes and have them all over. They were all really great sports because it was cold and windy. Thanks ladies for all your support.

Nothing is better than a cupcake with lots of frosting just before dinner...

It also help to have a big brother around to put stuff together. Thanks Chad.

Shelby is always moving...

Well what can I say this girl has always been moving. She started dancing when she was 3 and was never scared to be on a stage. So she was very excited when my sister said her daughters dance teacher does a teen hip hop class. Shelby was so happy to be back dancing. Her performance will be May 23rd. Thank you Tricia for all your hard work...

Well the highlight of the day for Chase was when I went to wash the car. As most 4 year old boys want to help I was nice and put in my last few quarters and let him have a few minutes of pure bliss. He thought it was so cool. I almost got soaked trying to get the camera out of the car...

Karly turning 2

Well how time flys. Karly will be turning 2 on Thursday. So while my parents were down I had to have a birthday party. More parties to follow as the week goes on...

PS.... To all my favorite ladies on my blog... On thursday (karlys birthday) I will have cupcakes out front on the grass at 4:30 so all of Karly's friends can share in her BIG day... PLEASE COME!

My sister Tasha has been coming to visit us off and on over the last few weeks. We sure enjoy having her close by. She will be leaving to back to Alaska soon to work the summer fire season.

The kids really enjoy having her around. She is still young enough to to FUN!!!

Chad has really had a good time getting to know some of the boys in our new ward. One of there favorite things to do is go "paint balling" I love that he is out doing things with these kids. So today when they went paint balling for a kids birthday, he came home with a few prize welts. Here are 2 of the 5. There is worse things they could be doing, so this is good...
