HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHELB!!!!!

OH baby girl where has the time gone?? I feel like it was just yesterday I was so happy to be holding my sweet new tiny baby girl(all 9lbs of her)
Shelby never seems to amaze me... She is so strong I wish I could have been half the girl she is at 16... I am so proud of her...

I love that she enjoys her little sister even if she had to wait 12 years to get her. I love when they get silly and just have fun....

Shelby has such a fun personality and will make anyone smile and have a good time... I love that she has good friends who make being good a good thing....

What a beautiful young lady she is I am so proud of her she has always been so good about standing up for what she believes even if it hurts or means losing a friend...She has so much integrity.... I am emotional just thinking about her...She is a true gem!!!!! HAPPY SWEET 16!!!!!

She did what????

Well it is NEVER a good sign when you find a pile of hair, and never a surprise when it involves Karly.....

So we spent the night looking like 2 face with short hair on one side and long on the other.
1st thing this morning we were off to Tara's house to fix the damage. They say she looks more like Chad with short hair.....

Have you ever had one of those moments when you realize just how fast time is flying? As we are coming up on Chad's 18Th birthday I had the thought that in a year we could be standing in the temple with him. HOLY COW... a year goes by so fast. You start to realize your running out of time with him... I am so grateful for him and the changes he has made in the last year to prepare to serve a mission for the Lord...I am so proud of him...

19 years

19 years ago on a HOT August day I married an amazing man. We have had many ups and downs in those years but we stood together and pulled through... We have 5 beautiful and wonderful children, who we would not trade for anything....We laugh and joke that we have been doing this marriage thing "a long time" but I am looking forward to the next 19 years even more...Maybe that has something to do with raising all our kids and have us time again.... Thanks to wonderful families who have been a HUGE support to us over the years......I love you Cory!!!!

1st day of pre school

Well today was Karly's 1st day to go to school... She was being kinda shy this morning, but I know she did great. It helps to be at aunt Crystal's house and with Rosin...
She when right to the play dough and then soon found the babies and I knew I was safe to leave...

Yesterday she was in a really funny mood. She talked non stop and the stories just went on and on...And all afternoon she kept talking about making her schedule....She Cory showed her how to type on the computer and she worked on her schedule all evening... She is so funny what would we ever do with out her.....

My sweet baby girl....

I am really enjoying my time with Karly since the kids went back to school. Yesterday we went to the zoo with friends. And next week she will start 2 days a week of school and I will enjoy my time away. But I will miss her... Today I was telling her how much I love her and she was telling me how much she loves me... Life is short I love having her around. I was telling her that Heavenly father saved her to be last baby. She laughed and said "MOM I DON"T WEAR DIAPERS ANYMORE" I was happy to tell her that she was still my baby... I know she was saved to be our special last baby...

Day at the zoo

We decided to take advantage no kids at home and met up with our great friends Lisa & Whatt at the zoo....Nothing like cooling off in the water!!

We even saw few of the animals but we soon learned that they were happier running around and chasing the ducks and birds...
what a special moments between friends...

She decided that this sting ray was talking to her through the glass....She thought it was so funny!

PHASE 2 "Elementary school"

Well here is the 2ND set getting off this morning...Kinda nice to be back to 2 schools and not 3...(but back to 3 next year) Everyone woke up good this morning and was excited to go to school, why does that not last....

Phase 1 "HIGH SCHOOL"

Well the girls are off to there 1st official day of high school. I think they were very excited and only a little nervous....

YM encampment

Cory and Chad had the opportunity to go to an amazing place in the white mountains. It was called Sprucedale ranch. What a great young mens encampment...
This is Chad with Bishop Wood, who in our eye is an amazing man, and a great influence on Chad.

The did many activities from several horse back rides (even in the rain) service projects and some even went swimming but it was to cold for most....

They were fed well both physically and spiritually...

Girl's Camp 2009

Well school was barley out and Shelby was packed and off to girl's camp... She was a 4Th year this year and was very excited. She has her backpack packed and was ready for the 4Th year long over night hike into camp. Her knee held up well to the hike. It was a hard hike and almost totally in the rain, she did not have a rain poncho (that's another story) So by the time she was ready to set up camp she was "dripping" and they were all so wet that no one even cared about dinner. But she was a trooper and did great. One of the leaders even told my mother-in-law that she did the best of most of the girls (makes her Dad proud)

The 4Th year girl have there own cabin away from everyone else and they loved that....What better than a few days with your friends ad just being CRAZY!!!!

Warning blog update over load coming soon

You have been warned I have had a very lazy nonproductive summer but it is almost over and it is time to catch up..You know its been slow when someone say I have not blogged in awhile that must mean no ER visits...

Jacqueline Rougemont-Gonzalez

I wanted to show all my friends what a beautiful lady my cousin Jackie was. Jackie was born on Feb. 17, 1981, and passed away June 8, 2009 She leaves behind a great family who will miss her so much. I think I can say that this was the hardest funeral I have ever had to go to...If you have ever heard Alan Jackson sing "sissy's song" if says it all. That song was sang at the funeral service by my uncle and 2 cousins. Not a dry eye in the room....
