Have you ever had one of those moments when you realize just how fast time is flying? As we are coming up on Chad's 18Th birthday I had the thought that in a year we could be standing in the temple with him. HOLY COW... a year goes by so fast. You start to realize your running out of time with him... I am so grateful for him and the changes he has made in the last year to prepare to serve a mission for the Lord...I am so proud of him...

19 years

19 years ago on a HOT August day I married an amazing man. We have had many ups and downs in those years but we stood together and pulled through... We have 5 beautiful and wonderful children, who we would not trade for anything....We laugh and joke that we have been doing this marriage thing "a long time" but I am looking forward to the next 19 years even more...Maybe that has something to do with raising all our kids and have us time again.... Thanks to wonderful families who have been a HUGE support to us over the years......I love you Cory!!!!

1st day of pre school
Well today was Karly's 1st day to go to school... She was being kinda shy this morning, but I know she did great. It helps to be at aunt Crystal's house and with Rosin...
She when right to the play dough and then soon found the babies and I knew I was safe to leave...
Yesterday she was in a really funny mood. She talked non stop and the stories just went on and on...And all afternoon she kept talking about making her schedule....She Cory showed her how to type on the computer and she worked on her schedule all evening... She is so funny what would we ever do with out her.....Thursday, August 13, 2009
My sweet baby girl....

I am really enjoying my time with Karly since the kids went back to school. Yesterday we went to the zoo with friends. And next week she will start 2 days a week of school and I will enjoy my time away. But I will miss her... Today I was telling her how much I love her and she was telling me how much she loves me... Life is short I love having her around. I was telling her that Heavenly father saved her to be last baby. She laughed and said "MOM I DON"T WEAR DIAPERS ANYMORE" I was happy to tell her that she was still my baby... I know she was saved to be our special last baby...

Day at the zoo

We decided to take advantage no kids at home and met up with our great friends Lisa & Whatt at the zoo....Nothing like cooling off in the water!!

We even saw few of the animals but we soon learned that they were happier running around and chasing the ducks and birds...
what a special moments between friends...

Girl's Camp 2009

Well school was barley out and Shelby was packed and off to girl's camp... She was a 4Th year this year and was very excited. She has her backpack packed and was ready for the 4Th year long over night hike into camp. Her knee held up well to the hike. It was a hard hike and almost totally in the rain, she did not have a rain poncho (that's another story) So by the time she was ready to set up camp she was "dripping" and they were all so wet that no one even cared about dinner. But she was a trooper and did great. One of the leaders even told my mother-in-law that she did the best of most of the girls (makes her Dad proud)

The 4Th year girl have there own cabin away from everyone else and they loved that....What better than a few days with your friends ad just being CRAZY!!!!
Warning blog update over load coming soon
You have been warned I have had a very lazy nonproductive summer but it is almost over and it is time to catch up..You know its been slow when someone say I have not blogged in awhile that must mean no ER visits...

Jacqueline Rougemont-Gonzalez
I wanted to show all my friends what a beautiful lady my cousin Jackie was. Jackie was born on Feb. 17, 1981, and passed away June 8, 2009 She leaves behind a great family who will miss her so much. I think I can say that this was the hardest funeral I have ever had to go to...If you have ever heard Alan Jackson sing "sissy's song" if says it all. That song was sang at the funeral service by my uncle and 2 cousins. Not a dry eye in the room....
