There are some real challenges when it comes to having girls 12 1/2 years apart. But it is also fun to watch them start to really enjoy each other. They did a whole little photo shot together this day but my computer only wants you to see one...go figure. Shelby will tell you that there are some hard days and that Karly has got into makeup and/or nail polish many times. But I love to see them laugh and have fun too...Saturday, April 25, 2009
My crazy girls

Well as many of you know I have had some problems potty training my last 2 kids. So I am always a little hesitant to call a victory. But we are happy to say that Karly is a week and a half accident free, and as earned the prize she has been watching at wally world... This was her stinky face....Way to go baby girl...

Bailey update

We are so grateful for this sweet girl in our loves. I think we are most grateful for the friend she is to Shelby. We are also grateful for the power of a priesthood blessing. She was given one, along with her mom. We were able to have them in our home before the surgery. How sweet it was to see this mother daughter team get these blessings together and be more prepared to go on this surgical journey...She was expected to be in the hospital 6-8 days but we are happy to say that she was home after 3 days....Since Bailey had to have her head shaved Shelby could not let her do this alone, so we were more than happy to give Shelby some clipper time...That's what best friends are for!!!!!

MY GIRLS

These are my girls, Shelby & Bailey. Today is going to be kinda a hard day for the girls, Bailey is having surgery were her brain stem meets her spinal cord. So as you can guess its a little uneasy around here. We really do consider her one of our kids. To keep these girls apart more than 24 hours is hard. Cory was nice enough to take the day off so that Shelby can be at the hospital when she gets done. Even though she will stay sedated for 24 hours after they get her awake enough to see her mom (& Shelby)
Good luck Bailey.....
