I have been having some stomach pains and they are just needing to look around. Who know it maybe gall bladder or something silly... Wish me luck...

My baby is 17 ???

Well I decided you have to stop some were. I could pull pictures for ever. You know how your 1st child is you have tons.... I am so grateful for Chad he is a great kid. I know sometimes I am a little slow in letting him branch out.

He was such a cute kid with his head full RED curls... He has most defiantly been a little spoiled being the 1st grand kid on the Smith side. He will still go to his Grandmas House regularly.

My trip with Grandpa & Grandma

I am so grateful for the chance I had to go with my parents to New Mexico to see my Grandma for her 81st birthday.

I took Karly with me and we really had a great time, I know she is very busy but I enjoyed the one on one time with her...Here are some of my favorite pictures from our weekend. Some of them are just of favorite things in my Grandmas yard.

She loved this swing, she kept asking to go to Grandma Greats swing (she made it)

My Grandma always has had the most wonderful yard, wonderful grass and flowers...

HE DID WHAT???? part 1

"NO WAY, HE DID WHAT"????? Is the usual response when I tell people that Chad asked a GIRL to Homecoming...Way to go Chad..... I am so proud of how much he has come out of his shell.... And she did say YES!

HE DID WHAT?????? part 2

Well what is your 1st response when you son say" I swallowed a QUARTER today"? Ya that is what I said.....More details to follow, waiting for a call from the Dr office.....Bythe way it was Brady!

100 DAYS

Ya I am at 100 days off Pepsi.... I think it helps that once in a while I see the number of days and that has been a good motivator. I am even more happy to see some pounds find a new home, hopefully a few more will follow...

GO SHELB GO

I have to say that Shelby always seems to amaze me. Today was her 2nd cross country met. She has been having problems with her Knee all week and has not been able to run all her practice days. But she was amazing and improved her time (I think it helped to have her Dad there) Last week it was 1.9 miles and her time was 20.07 and this week the course was 2.1 and she made it in 18.09....Way to go girl....I love the last comment by my brother in law Jade.....

Shelbys new adventures...

Well Shelby has taken on a new adventure this school year. She has the desire to go out for basketball in the fall, so she needed to be in sports (aka 6th hour PE) So as she dragged me into the idea of giving up choir we entered the world of school sports. Well this morning at 6:30 AM I was off to see her run her 1st cross country race. She was great, I was not prepared for how emotional I would be to watch a race.... I am looking forward to see how much she will improve over the next 2 months....GO SHELB!!!!!

Labor Day Weekend

We were able to get out of town for a couple of days. I am so glad that my parents are close enough to run up for a few days.

We took the kids and we drove up the the Morenci Az mine, that is were my mom drives the miners too.

The kids thought it was really neat to see the mine in action. This is a copper mine, my Dad works in the mine in Thatcher.
The kids thought it was really neat to see my Moms bus and walk through it. I think they really liked that it had a bathroom on it....
